This rhyming book is a nighttime story about fear, comfort, and love. The llama in this book says goodnight to his mom, but when she doesn't return to his room, he gets concerned. Llama, llama, red pajama shows a characters love and concern for his mom and the reader gets to watch the mom's comfort

through fun and entertaining rhyming.

This book is about Llama Llama Red Pajama going to sleep. He is scared without his Mama and worries when she does not come right away. I would use this in a classroom because it shows that parents are not always able to be there right away, but they will come. It is good for ages 3-7.

This book is precious. I love the sing songy verse it is written in.

The llama is upset at bedtime and calls for his mom.

I read this story to my students at the beginning of the year when they are uneasy about being at school. Then we talk of ways we can feel close to our parents even when they are

not around.

I think this book should be in every kids library.

This little llama is afraid to sleep without his mama. He calls out to her and gets no immediate answer. After the little llama causes llama drama, his mother lets him know that she is always with him even if little llama cannot see her all the time.

This is a very cute story, about a little Llama that wants his momma and he wants her,now! Momma teaches him about having patience and understanding. In the end he gets his momma and finally settles down and goes to sleep. This is a very good bedtime story and I read it to my grandson often.

Llama gets ready for bed, but he gets scared. He wants his mama. Baby Llama starts acting out and Mama Llama has to scold him. But, in the end, he is ok and she says good night. Then Baby Llama drifts off to sleep.

Llama Llama Red Pajama is one of our family favorites. We can read this book time and time again and always get a giggle. The story is Baby Llama demanding mom's attention time and time again. Mama Llama has a lot of chores to do so Baby Llama needs to learn the toughest lesson of all...patience.

The pictures are full of details and there are great expressions drawn onto the characters faces. The rhythm of the story makes this story a little like a song.It is a story all about the bedtime routine which I find is a great tool when putting your own little ones to sleep.

This is a good source of fantasy because it shows the relationship between the mother and son as the mom tries to put her son to bed. The baby llama is scared at bedtime and doesn't want his mom to leave him.

The house as the setting because the story wouldn't work without it. The mom is doing

things around the house as baby is scared in his room and wanting his mom to come back to him.

This is an adorable bedtime story about a llama who is afraid of being alone at night. After Mama Llama tucks him in, she leaves to do the dishes and talk on the phone. He worries that she's gone and he starts to cry and scream. Eventually, she comes back to remind him that while she might not

always be right next to him, she will never leave him. Then, he falls asleep.

The story is told in rhyme and the illustrations span both pages. There is no white space. The illustrations are bold, large, and full of energy. Some pages do not have text at all and the author/illustrator uses only pictures to move the story forward. This would be a perfect bedtime story.

Highly recommended for preschool and elementary school libraries.

This adorable picture book is the perfect story for children who have trouble falling asleep when left alone, and need reassurances that an adult is close by when needed. The entire story is done in rhyming verses, and it features illustrations of anthropomorphized llamas done in vibrant yet soft

pastels. The two characters are the baby llama, who wears red pajamas, and the mama llama who tucks him into bed and then leaves the room. Baby llama starts to fret, and then panics, thinking that Mama is gone, but when he cries out, she rushes to his side and tells him that, "Mama Llama's always near, even if she's not right here." There are many funny lines, including a reference to "llama drama," which will make parents smile. Actually, baby llama's gender is never specified, so this book is suitable for young boys and girls, and the llama characters obscure any ethnic qualities as well. A recommended bedtime read for troubled sleepers ages 2-4.

This is a very cute book for children to read that will show them a scared little llama. It is a repetitive book that follows the routine of a llama going to sleep. In the end you see that everything is alright with mama around.

When its time for baby llama to go to bed, his llama mama tucks him in and turns off the light. Baby llama gets scard and calls for his moma to come back but she doesn't right away. This leads him to throw a temper tantrum. This is a great read a loud because it has great illustrations and rhyming.

Its a fun book for younger children.

Llama, Llama Red Pajama, narrated by Bryan Kennedy, is a simple story about a llama who is worried that his mother has abandoned him after putting him to bed. This is a reassuring story for children who are afraid to go to sleep alone. The repetition and rhyming text make this a good choice for

young children. Even though the story is simply told, I think having the book with visual clues would make this easier to understand and follow along. I would recommend using the audio with the book for students beginning to read. Grades: Preschool-K.
