This book can help kids learn how to read. It is a fun way to teach them because they rhyme.Every number shows a picture with different items in that number. The book goes all the way up to twenty, but for this age group it should stop at ten. Carlstrom did a great job with this book.

This was not an over fascinating book but I can see where It has its positives. I think that it would be used very well in teaching the beginning of teaching how to count but it also had some good rhymes and poetic wording to go along with the counting.
