This is a wonderful book for children. It not only incorporates rhyming but also counting. In the book it is rainy day and she goes outside to play. She counts as she goes about the puddles, raindrops, umbrella, etc. After she counts to ten, she counts back down to one! Finally at the end, the sun

Good rain book, little girl goes out to play in the rain, has all the accoutrements of rain play, Also, a counting book up to ten and back down, the counting part for read-aloud is a bit nebulous, first you count raindrops (not easy to see or count).

A good book for storytime with the counting of the raindrops through out the story as the rain increases from one to lost of raindrops. Would work well with toddler and preschool storytimes.
