I love this book and it seems that it would help out in attachment between a child and their mom. The art is amazing and I have not looked at children’s books for a while and so glad this opportunity is here!!! I just order books through Scholastics and bookstores are soo much better. Both the
Show More
art and the story are appealing and I would love to buy this for my best friend Tonie. As for older students, maybe not so much, might be a little mushy for the middle readers. They might think it’s a “kids” book.

This was a good book. The only thing that could make the book just that much more special was if they would have had the lyrics to the song the mom would sing, or what the little baby would sing. I do like how the story shows that even when families are not together that they are always with each
Show More
other. I think that is a very important message and makes the book have that much more quality.

While I wish the author had better explained exactly why the mama elephant had to leave her baby in order get the rain to come, the illustrations in this book are absolutely amazing. There are some amazing quotes about love, and I have to admit I cried while reading this! Extrapolations can be made

about how sometimes parents have to leave their children in order to bring about better things (i.e., going to work, etc) but there will always be a special bond between mama and child.

This book blew me away, of course I am a little partial to mother/child stories; they just make me so happy. Meet me at the moon is a cute little story about a mama elephant and her baby being away from each other for a period of time. The moon is what connects them through distance, and when they

meet again your heart will melt. The illustrations were very well done also, so this book really hits the top of my list.

A story about a mother and child separating using elephants as main characters. The mother elephant reassures the baby elephant that she will be back for him but in the mean time the baby elephant can feel his mother through things around him.
