This book is great for teaching preschoolers the alphabet letters while using objects that represent the letter. We start on a journey from A for the Apple Tree to Z for ZZZZZipper. We enter the apple tree and meet a family of chipmunks who have friends donkey and goat. This book takes you on a

journey with the chipmunks who live in the tree and their adventures. This book does feature some unrealistic things like the chipmunk racing the donkey-they are swimming in the river. This may be a slight downfall but I feel for 4 and 5 year olds it is good to read some books with a bit of imagination and a bit of silly. This would be a time to talk about, wait can donkeys swim in the water? What animals can swim in water?
