The Berenstain bear children discover careers, in a non-sexist way that was revolutionary and exciting when the book came out. A couple of the careers are a little dated now (thirty years on).

The characters in this book look like the ones in the Berenstain Bears books. This book teaches children all about the different roles of males and females. This may be contorversial because many gender roles are different now. It is okay for the dad to stay home and take care of the children, but

that is the job of the mother in this book. Show Less

This book was about a boy bear and a girl bear that can not decide what they want to be when they grow up. The book lists many things you could be when you grow up. The book teaches children that they can be whatever they want to be whether they are a boy or a girl.
