This book is good for a basis in classic fairytales, but is a bit lacking in sufficient storyline. Although it is a children's book, and is sufficiently simplistic and understandable, the content is slightly underwhelming. I just read this story for the first time, and always thought it was so much

more. If a teacher were to use a Hans Christian Andersen fairytale in a classroom, I would advise against this one, because it lacks any depth, moral, or lesson.
