Summary: This book is a collection of poetry that has stood the test of time. Many of life's lessons can be taught from the poetry in this book. It is put in random order.
Personal Reaction: My favorite poem from this book was "Fireflies in the Garden" by Robert Frost. This is such an excellent book
Classroom Extensions:
1. I would have my students pick one poem from this book to read to the class and explain why they felt a connection to that particular poem.
2. I would also read a couple of my favorite poems from this book then ask my students to create their own poetry to then form into a book.
