I LOVE this book. This brings an important issue (I am so passion about!) that many children need to know. Michael Bird-Boy lives in the country, and likes to look at the stars at night. One night, the sky is covered with smog. He goes to see what the problem is, and sees that Boss-Lady has a

factory making artificial honey. He explains to her how to make real honey, and the air is back to normal! Children need to see the importance of eating organic or natural. I can take this book into two directions: teach my students about avoiding processed food or how to make our air safer. We have to educate our youth that we are killing our planet! If they aren't learning this at home, then its up to educators to take matter into their own hands.

Michael Bird-Boy followed the black cloud to a smoke stack and gave boss lady a natural alternative to making honey that wouldn't cause pollution.
