A small book with some tasty Tuscan recipes. Main problem I had with it is (of course) they call for using Five Brothers jarred sauces instead of telling you how to make the sauce. Oh well, I guess they're in it to promote their products!!

One of the nice parts of the book is that they give you a

menu for a particular meal and then recipes for all of the different items in said menu. The recipes themselves are nicely laid out and not too complicated for the novice with fairly common ingredients.

All in all, not a bad book for someone who wants to dabble with uncomplicated Italian cooking and I guess for the novice, using jarred sauces in the recipes is most probably a plus. There is also a nice full color photo accompanying most recipes that I think is a must in a cook book.
