Description

Jake's made a pretty amazing discovery. It seems like there may be other people who know about the alien invasion of Earth. Others who know about the Yeerks. Jake finds a website devoted to revealing the existence of the Yeerks, but he and the other Animorphs suspect it might be too good to be true. If they try to investigate the site and it's a trap, the Yeerks could find out who they are. If they don't check it out, they'll never know if they're the only ones fighting. Whatever Jake and the others decide to do, they've got to move quickly, because Visser Three isn't the only one dying to meet them.

A short comment for every book of the series until I get a chance to re-read them. All three of my sons and I loved this series and read every single book - I even bought every single book (most, but not all, used; some through school book sales). I'm excited to re-read them to see how the five

main characters develop and to watch all the different transformations again.

There were so many unhinged moments in this book; the kid getting trapped in the toilet by a butt, stealing poop, the accident in fly morph where a child's guts fall out, cleaning the floor as a bear!?!

Spring 2020 (Animorphs Read 2020 April);

I continue to love Jake books more and more now that there's more showing and less telling about his leadership role. As we hear it in his discussions, and watch it take place as he owns the role of Animorph Leader, stepping up to make head decisions, rather

than waiting for everyone to argue out and then force him to be a deciding vote with the excuse of being leader. I love seeing him waffle. I love the discussions about it between Cassie and Jake cropping up more and more.

The near-death fly experience was totally a sad thing, as was watching Jakes instant PTSD from it. And his refusal to let it show, because he now feels he has to be the bedrock to make things okay for everyone else. It was interesting seeing all the integration of the early internet, and definitely super surprising to see the twist with the millionaire and how he's staying alive.
