A wonderful book exploring death, coming of age, farm life and hunting. This book ranks high in my main three areas plot, characters, and language. A good read for adult or child.

I really enjoyed Tracker. Although the cover may look like a scarey book, the story within is moving to anyone who reads it. A young boy John, who always hunted with his grandfather, is now forced to hunt alone, due to his grandfather's cancer. This story is relatable to almost any age and/or

interest. Those who are losing someone or have lost someone could relate to the feelings John has, as he learns to cope with a loved one dying. Those who love hunting may learn a new understanding for killing deer. Gary Paulsen created a wonderful story that is a must read for everyone.

As I am sitting in the woods I start hunting season. i hunt for the bigest deer out there. the deers and elk are huge i killed one last summer when i was with my dad. So as i am sitting waiting for the animal i find one and I kill it.

this book is a book for any one that likes emotion and adventure.The book begans with him staring at his grandfather thinking about death.His grandfather has cancer, but john just can't see the death. He is about to go hunting the next morning so goes to sleep early. The next morning he goes deer

hunting he has traveled the swamp and could not find nothing.Then he heard the doe get up and take off.On the way there he finds her bed. It was still warm so he knew it hasn't been long since she'd taken off. Then he started tracking .While he was tracking he talked about lots of emotions with his grandfather incuded.Read this book to find out some of them.

Tracker is a book about a boy who finds out that his grandpa is going to die and the doctors cant do any thing about it.so on the afternoon before the deer season he has to do chores and one of his chores is to take the cow dung and take it to the pasture for summer planting and it gets dark and a

doe jumps out and runs off then the next morning he finds the same deer and tracks it and the rest is an amazing story about when death was cheated

This story about a boy who goes into the woods to hunt for food and he tracks a doe. His grandfather is dying and his parents are dead so he will be with only his grandma.

I recommend this to people who like beauty because it is alot about the beauty of the deer. I do not recommend it to people who

like action packed stories.
