This book is really sweet. The author's love of cats shines out on every page. I found it a pleasure to read.

I was a bit disappointed in the crafts, as the only technique discussed is felting and really there isn't much substance to the projects, other than the finger puppets, which are great.

Still, the book is charming and the crafts are cute.

Worth owning just for the love of cats.

I enjoyed this book. It had an entertaining aspect with being translated from japanese, but it is adorably written. I expected more variety of crafts besides just felting, but within the felting had a variety of good ideas with finger puppets, cat portraits, and applique's. I was hoping for maybe

how to turn it into yarn or some other ideas, and would have liked more detail on how she gets the color differences - I have saved up a whole jar of cat hair from my seal point siamese and it's all pretty much a uniform gray, even though my cat is light and dark and has white areas. I will admit that I haven't managed to bring myself to attempt felting with it more than once, and had difficulty with it since I didn't want to buy a bunch of needle felting stuff to make one or two things of cat hair.
It is a very fun coffee table book when family comes over and goes "oh my gawd do you really do this?!"
