The Spring 2011 issue featured a story by a man who walked away from an unsatisfying, over-medicated life – despite his encounters with stereotypes – and into a new one; a fictional story about a man who found that an encounter with the stigma of tuberculosis showed him that he might have more in common with his father then he originally thought; a story about a man who spends thirty years mastering the art of avoidance to manage his obsessive-compulsive disorder; and a poem on how one man was delivered from the deepest depths of his despair with the aid of a new-found faith in God. The Winners of the 9th Annual BrainStorm Poetry Contest were also featured inside
