Meconopsis

The Himalayan poppies, properly known as the genus Meconopsis, are a group of plants that have flowers up to 11 ins (28 cms) across and show in perfect purity many colours. This book sets out to explain why they are not widely grown and to remove some of the prejudices. It details their distribution, their medicinal and agricultural potential, their classification and their evolution.
