Has its share of touchy-feely stuff, but I felt this was pretty grounded overall. As someone new to meditation, I appreciated that Gefen includes lots of practical advice and tries not to make unrealistic promises; as a Jew, I liked that many of the exercises are designed to connect one to G-d

and/or to Jewish concepts and values. I certainly enjoyed this far better than the online mindfulness class my wife and I have had to do for work -- vague yet hyperbolic claims and forced group intimacy are not a winning combination in my book.
