We’ve got a three-peat rule at our house: we won’t read the same kid book more than three times in a row. With How do Dinosaurs Clean Their Rooms? we’re invoking the rule all the time.
It’s no wonder. The rhymes are catchy; the pictures whimsical; the examples of how not to clean

hilariously realistic. It would be perfect if only it were a bit more gender inclusive. (Every dinosaur is different, and so are the parents. Would it kill Yolen to throw in a “she” now and then?) I know dinosaurs are traditionally a guy thing, but it’s my 2-year-old daughter who is on a dinosaur kick at the moment, and whenever I read this to her, the pronouns jar me.
Still, great book. Fun for her and fun for me. It’s not quite enough to tempt me to make an exception to the three-peat rule, but it’s close.

We are huge fans of all Yolen's/Teague's dinosaur books!
Great illustrations, very cute and humorous characters, and not many words on each page. Rhyming verse which also makes them good picks for new readers. Great for practicing punctuation ("?")

This is a very encouraging book for everyone. The special writings of Max Lucado's newest book, Max On Life, offer Bible-based responses to many questions we have in our own life. Questions about disciplining kids, special needs children, struggling marriages, sex, work and finances. The one

hundred fifty questions are conveniently indexed by topic and scripture to allow quick access as a reference resource. If you are looking for someone who is in your corner no matter how you perform, I think meditating on the answers in this book will reveal the Father's heart for hikers and bikers, and the cowboys and rednecks because God loves all people. Look around and ask God to show you his beautiful work of diversity all around you. His grace will give you rest and answers to some of your hard questions tugging on your heart. 5 * book and special gift book!

This book teaches children the importance of keeping one's room tidy by pretending the children are dinosaurs. The pictures are humorous as they start out by making messes but in the end keep everything nice and clean. This is a great book because in addition to it be funny and cute, it actually

promotes a good life skill--organization. I love how the dinosaurs are absolutely monstrous in size but are doing things that one would normally see a child doing.
