the day of a brother and sister and the girl Carmela pondering what she would wish for with the dandelion.. her wishes are like "I wish my father could come home" (he was currently deported) and "I wish my mom could sleep in a fancy bed like the ones at the hotel she works at". These wishes showed the different life that immigrant families have to live but also captured the joy of a child and the bonding with her brother. Show Less
