open really grabs their attention. Then, when the children open the book, they are looking into the eyes of a gray wolf.I had them quess as to what animal they thought it may be. The real life pictures in this book are amazing and the detailed information about the animals help peek the curiosity of these young learners. They loved looking at the pictures and listening to me read aloud about these incredible predators. The text is easy to read and key words are highlighted in bold colors. The glossary is also very kid friendly and easy for readers to understand. I would have liked to have seen suggested websites for them to research additional information. Suggested age is 3 and up.
