Hugs make Hattie uncomfortable. She dreads the family reunion because she knows everyone will want to hug her. Sure enough, the arms come at her and Hattie feels squirmy and prickly. Only Great-Grandma understands and helps Hattie find her voice to stop the hugs but still connect with her family.
