possesses a deeper meaning. The self-esteem theme of the book will appeal mostly to young children who may feel as though they are not special. In this book, animals use the letters of the alphabet to tell why they like themselves. One word that the animal uses to describe his or herself begins with a letter of the alphabet. For example, the first page shows a pig jumping in the air exclaiming "I am Awesome".

experience how diverse ABC books really are. I think this book is really neat because it deals with self-esteem. This book isn't just for teaching the alphabet, it can help kids feel special. At least one page has a phrase that every kid will be able to recognize as a phrase that describes them too. This book is also great because the illustrations are simple, yet vibrant.
