Friends and Heroes is an exciting animated DVD-based Bible learning series that teaches kids Bible stories, ancient history, and how to live life as a Christian. In Sweet Freedom,Macky and the gang want to rescue some slaves who are forced to work, shackled, in the Roman granary, but their friends and neighbors are worried about the repercussions. Sollie's mother, Miriam, challenges them by telling the story of Moses and the Egyptian slave master. Macky soon finds he has enough support to help the slaves. Episode 6 also features the story of Saul on the road to Damascus.
