the woman's husband charged with murder. How Kit goes about solving this case will keep you reading far into the night to see how this story will play out.

If you like drama and courtroom scenes played out you will thoroughly enjoy yourself in this series. Although this author co-authored another series about Kit Shannon before this one, he does a great job going solo and continuing to write about Kit and her challenges to be a lawyer and do it with dignity and honor in the midst of a very wicked society. Looking forward to reading the next two in this series.
