São Paulo won in May 1995, one a most beautiful gifts. Located in the heart of Jardim Europa and designed by award-winning architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha, the Brazilian Museum of Sculpture Marilisa Rathsam was the result of the first ecological-urban movement of the city. But it was only possible due to the effort and the persistence of an artist in São Paulo. For decades, sculptor Marilisa Rathsam fought relentlessly for the protection of nature and culture. First leading the mobilization against the construction of a shopping mall in a neighborhood-garden, after heading the fundraising campaign for the building of the Museum. Under the management of Vivienne, the MuBE also promoted its most important national and international exhibitions.
