I'll be honest, I am a new fan to the Directioners. For a long time (basically since they stared), I tried to fight the hype because it was "too teeny-bopper." Then I listened to the music and I was sold. I really did love this book. Admittedly, towards the end it did seem a bit repetitive in parts
Show More
because they talked about a lot of the same thing (MSG, Comic Relief, etc.), but it was still interesting to see each of the boys' perspectives on the different events that they did mention and their thoughts overall.

I loved that it was easy to hear who was speaking, even without looking at the name on the side of the page or the obvious location/name clues in the writing. They all sounded like they sound in interviews (both staged and not) and when they are performing. There were five distinct voices in the text and, as both an avid reading and a writer, I really appreciated that.

The pictures were fantastic to look at. I always find it fun to see pictures of those I admire from when they were younger as well as pictures of them now. People are fascinating and it is interesting to see how they grow and change through the years in snapshot form.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book. It was nothing groundbreaking, nothing spectacularly stellar, but it was well done and it was enjoyable, which is what I was looking for when I picked it up (let's be honest, you don't pick this book up expecting Dickens or Austen). I have no regrets in buying it and I have no regrets in spending the time I did reading it.

I listened to the audiobook which went really quick and was exactly what I expected. It's not much new information if you've followed the band and heard them talk about the go to topics like X Factor and growing up and things like that but it was nice listening to their voices and I'd recommend it

to big fans of the band.

I loved this book it was amazing to read all there different perspectives of how everything went through out the years. Even though I know pretty much everything about One Direction it was still cool to see how they liked the last 4 years. If your a directioner and you haven't read this book, I
Show More
strongly suggest reading this book. If you don't like One Direction then what are you doing with your life. P.S. Harry Styles and I are already married.
