The Worry Website by Jacqueline Wilson- The Worry Website was invented by teacher Mr. Speed so that his students would have somewhere to anonymously share their trouble and get help or advice from classmates. There are actually seven stories in the book; one was written by a girl who won an online

contest. The stories are all very touching and all come to some sort of resolution except for Lisa’s story, which was the one written by the internet winner.
I do like the idea of a worry website. I think it would probably be helpful in many cases. If the site was school related though, it should probably be supervised by the counselor though.
I think this is a good discussion book. Many of the issues the students in the story are worried about, other students go through too. While reading the book, students could also write suggestions of how they think the issues should be dealt with.
