created by a person called Desmond Tiny who predicts the future of the clan, ( also called “Destiny”)he is a person who loves evil and laughs at death and is very, very dominant. He has 1 daughter and 1 son named Lady Evanna and Mr Tall these people also have a part of their father’s powers. In this book there is also another form of vampires they are known as the Vampaneze, these people are ruthless, they kill anyone who comes in their way and their Lord is about to rise and “destiny” chooses THREE great trained vampires: Mr Crepsly, Darren Shan, Vancha march to complete this war to save the vampire clan from falling. That is 3 against 72 000, and believe it or not they killed 1000 by their self and yet haven’t killed the Vampaneze lord. Who will they meet during their fight, what unusual things will happen to them, who will die.....? And who is this Vampaneze lord? Lastly who will win?, the vampires or the Vampaneze? Find out now!!!
My favourite part was when they were in the vicious fight against the Vampaneze and the way the vampire chose to sacrifice him to defend their clan but was scammed and cheated...
I like this series because everything is a complete puzzle and what you see in movies... no it is completely different, he creates new parts and keeps them in.... and you won’t believe what the bits are or what they are. This author puts in the action in right time and easily trick and make your read on.
I must recommend this book to people who love tricks, fighting, blood and gore, fantasy, action, puzzle, mystery and more

Vampire War comprises of books 7 to 9 of the saga of Darren Shan. These are kids books but as with many such as Harry Potter they’re lots of fun for adults too.
I have loved the series so far and this book has not disappointed. The scenarios are a little more mature. The fighting is a little more

exciting and the characters are a little more robust.
Throughout these books you get to learn more and more about vampire ways and history while the suspense builds and the war of the scars progresses. If I’m honest most of the twists and turns are predictable, particularly if you have seen the Vampires Assistant movie, but that doesn’t make them any less shocking or enjoyable to read.
The only thing I didn’t like about this book was the particularly nasty trick that is played right at the end of book 9. I will not go into detail as it would spoil the story but lets just say that Darren Shann very cruelly plays with the emotions of his readers in a way which made me want to punch him on the nose. That being said, very good book and a well deserved 5 stars. Harry Potter fans will love!
