I was excited for this and to get more of Atlas. I was really happy that this was not just a re-telling of the first book but through Atlas POV. It actually follows both Lily and Atlas a few months where It Ends With Us left off.

I thought it was a little slow moving at times. It has many aww

moments, but nothing that really tore my soul apart like I have come to expect from Colleen Hoover books. I still enjoyed this though.

I hesitated to categorized this as romance. The story is about the courage to walk away from a bad situation and second chance after surviving domestic violence. The story is uplifting, but the sad undertone is always there to remind readers not to cocoon themselve in a bad situation, have the

courage and walk away to find happiness.

This is the second and final book in the series. Follow Lily, who has left her abusive husband and takes up with Atlas whom she has known since she was sixteen. Atlas who at one time was homeless is now the owner of two restaurants. Follow their life as their love blooms into a wonderful romance.

Can Lily's jealous ex-husband accept the fact that Lilly has moved on with her life?

This is an originally unplanned sequel, and at first I thought it wasn't going to be the best, but I still found myself getting drawn into the story. Before long, I didn't want to put it down. There's plenty of things going on and it's much more than a tacked on happily ever after. If you loved the

first one, read this too.
