A love quadrangle, sorta. It's the story of Claudia, Sam, Alison, and Nick. Claudia is a very sucessful, heterosexual romance writer, Alison has known her since college and is her agent. Sam is an interior designer and Alison's friend, and is redoing Claudia's house. Nick is a rising star and

orchestra conductor. Nick has also taken a page from the film Victor, Victoria and is a female masquerading as a male.

In some ways the plot is simpler than the previous paragraph, and in other ways it's much more complicated. There is a lot of love between the beginning and end. Even as partners switch, everyone's emotions get stamped on and misunderstandings abound there still seems to be love. Still, as romantic and sweet that is, every once in awhile it does get a little unbelievable that there's that much love between the couples that are not on the best terms.

Luckily, the writing was good enough that some of the bumps in the plot were smoothed over. I have to say I also really liked that this was a sort of Victor, Victoria themed book for lesbians.

A solid three star lesbian fic, which took some turns and twists that I did expect and some I didn't.
