PREFACE
The lessons in the Book of Ruth are needed in the lives of Christians today as perhaps never before. In the midst of confusion, apostasy, disillusionment, and compromise on the part of the Church and many who call themselves Christian, the account of how God undertook for one who committed herself wholly to His Word and His promises, as Ruth did, presents a challenge and a call to commitment to the people of God. This is the day of the Twentieth Century Reformation movement, and, as God undertook for Ruth, so He undertakes for each one according to His will for His everlasting glory.

This book consists of sermons which were delivered on Sunday mornings form the pulpit of the Bible Presbyterian Church of Collingswood, in 1952. They were broadcast over radio station WVCH of Chester, Pa. They appear here very much in the style in which they were delivered, as messages from the Word of God.
