NOTE.
The following action was taken by the General Assembly, in session at Birmingham, Ala., May 22, 1891.
"Resolved, That this Revised Directory for Worship, adopted by this Assembly, be now sent to the Presbyteries, to vote Aye or No upon its adoption as a part of the constitution of the church, with instruction that as soon as any Presbytery has voted upon it, the Stated Clerk of said Presbytery shall make out two certified statements of the vote, one to be sent immediately to the Stated Clerk of the Assembly, the other to be sent to the next General Assembly by the Presbytery's commissioners thereto.
"Also that the Committee of Publication be instructed to send a copy of the Directory to each pastor and session of the church."
