Notes

This book is from among the several hundred volumes donated in 2008 to the PCA Historical Center by Dr. George P. Hutchinson, a collection gathered during his research into American Presbyterianism and in particular, the Fundamentalist-Modernist controversy of the early 20th century. Henry Sloan Coffin [1877-1954] would have been one of those on the Modernist side of that controversy. The papers of Henry Sloan Coffin are preserved at Columbia University - http://www.columbia.edu/cu/lweb/archival/collections/ldpd_4492441/
