"This book is, in effect, an explication of he first half of the statement found in the thirteenth chapter of the Epistle to the Hebrews, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, yea and for ever. By implication, however, it is an exposition of the entire statement because if Jesus Christ is the same today that He was nineteen hundred years ago the inference lies close to hand that He will continue to be the same forever."
