River-boats and river-skippers between the Victorian and South Australian river-ports of the Murray, Darling and Murrumbidgee rivers during the nineteenth-century. This is a history of the inland shipping that used to run over 4000 miles of Australia's rivers, travelling from the Murray mouth and up the Darling, also going as far as Gundagai on the Murrumbidgee, and Albury on the Murray.
