Published by his daughter, Sarah Tilly, from his original handwritten account, John Adams mainly describes his arrival in Adelaide on 'The Buffalo' 24th Dec 1836, and his life for the first few months afterwards, including descriptions of the Aboriginal tribes living in what are now the park lands and North Adelaide.
