I enjoyed this book not only because of its content, but the illustrations in this book are amazing. It is a very fact-filled book, but in an easy read form. This book seems to me like it would attract an audience of young boys, but some girls are risk takes too and may delve right in!

You could use this book if your doing a unit of mountain regions. This could be a great book to use when talking about survival or precautions you should take when planning any kind of trip!

great addition to teaching about the other countries in the world or introducing students to mountain climbing and what are the most popular mountains climbed in the world. I also enjoyed the illustration used throughout the book which consisted of layering a variety of different colored papers.
