I loved reading all of these poems. These are poems written by war survivors like children and soldiers and even some poetry by famous authors like Langston Hughes.

Music and Drum: Voices of War and Peace, Hope and Dreams is beautifully illustrated. The images on each page fit perfectly behind the message of the poems. This collection of poems that reveal the pain of violence/war and the hope/joy children find in times of peace.

This poetry book is full of miscellaneous poems about war, peace, hope, and dreams. It tells of many aspects of a war through poetry. There are poems in regards to letter to home, hoping for a brighter day, the sounds or war, and what happens during and after a war. I loved this book because of how
