the common things: hugs, smiles, fear. It also shows things like “Yum! Means I like it,” “a pout means I’m mad,”
“a roar means I’m scary. Sometimes a two-dimensional form doesn’t really express what a shiver is, but the reader and child can certainly participate in the story by acting these words out as they read.

Summary: A kiss means i love you, a wave means hello, a smile means I'm happy, a tug means lets go.
This book shows all the motions people do to show how they feel.

Personal reaction: Cute book because its simple and really does help little kids to notice what people so when they do expressions.

Classroom ideas: I would read this to my students and get feedback from them on how they show their emotions and what they see other people do to show them.

Good vocabulary and warm fuzzies about family without being too simple for older toddlers. Simple sentences.
