This book helps one think about how there is a time and place for jumping just like there is a time and place for everything. You could use it to explain rules in the classroom or character education.

This book would be good for k-3rd grade. After reading the book you could ask students what was an activity they really liked to do, and discuss when and where were good places to do that activity. It would also just be a fun book to read to the class.
