This is a really neat book. The book uses an example of an apple tree to teach children the life story of a tree. It starts with the seed, and explains how the seed is naturally planted and how it germinates. The book then goes on to teach children about the tree’s roots, leaves, and about the

tree in all the different seasons. At the end of the book, a lesson plan is provided to teach students or children about what happens to water after it reaches the leaves of a tree.

A tree is indeed a plant. It’s the biggest plant that grows and it grows from seeds. There are a lot of different kinds of trees. The main focus is an apple tree. Seeds from the apples fall to the ground and through the fall and winter the seeds are covered by leave, soil, ice, and snow. The seed

beings to grow when spring comes, and the rain and sunshine come out. Within seven years, the tree has grown and begins to blossom. Green apples begin to grow and they grow slowly. They grow through the spring and summer and fall to the ground when they are ripe.
You cannot see the roots of the trees because they are underground and grow like the branches. Roots do a lot for the tree. When fall comes and it is close to winter, the work of the leaves is done. They turn yellow and brown then fall to the ground. When it is winder, the tree looks dead, but it is not. Spring comes again and the whole process starts all over again.

In this book, the students will learn how a tree grows and how it gets food and water. Also, they will find out what happens to water after it travels through a tree’s roots, branches, and leaves, and how to figure out a tree’s age. This book digs deep into the tree for the students to learn

all the inside parts of a tree. The pictures are great also because they related to real life people. Also, this book introduces basic science concepts to young children and helps satisfy their curiosity about how the world works.

I personally loved this story because of the illustrations that go along with the simple words. The words explain exactly what happens when an apple tree grows. The pictures can give young readers a vivid image of what actually occurs. It is fun for readers and very informational. This book brings

a positive experience to all readers. The author also uses some similes and metaphors throughout the story. For example, while describing the roots, "Some of them are as small as hairs". This is a great model for students to see but also allows them to imagine how small a root can really be.

This book is an informational story on how an apple tree grows. This is a great story for young readers because it goes through a step by step process of how a apple tree grows from a small apple seed. The story has great illustrations to go with the words. This story could be read in a variety of classroom settings (science class, reading class, writing class, etc).

This book explains the parts of a tree. The tree starts as a seed that you can plant or that can fall on to the ground and grow. As it starts the tree is small but it grows to be the biggest plant.
