This is a story of imagination. The children are asked to go to sleep, but instead they are wide awake. They play music, dance with the animals, and do many creative things before bed. Eventually, they become sleepy after using up all the energy from being creative. At the end, they fall asleep for

bedtime.

This is a book about children that are not quite ready to go to bed. Their parents come in and tell them that it is about bedtime but instead of immediately getting ready, they make up stories about their stuffed animals. Their make believe adventures take them rowing on a boat and swimming with

whales. By the end, the children are beginning to get sleepy so they decide that they will really begin getting ready for bed. They brush their teeth and hug their parents goodnight. This would be a good book to read to Kindergarteners before their nap or reading it your own children before they go to bed.

This story is set to the nursery rhyme "A-Hunting We Will Go." The reader can sing along while reading the story. It is all about getting ready for bed like brushing teeth, hugging goodnight and putting p.j.s on. It would be a really good book to sing along with. I think younger grades would enjoy

singing along with this book.

This book is a musical book that can be read or sung. The book starts out with going hunting for various things. The children are getting ready for bed when they decide to go hunting. They hunt for bears, moose, foxes, and whales. They go on an adventure then put on their pajamas. They also brush

their teeth because it is time for bed! It is a very cute book to read before bed time!

It was okay. A little confusing for me to read. I was looking at it as a story book so maybe that is what made it so hard to read. The pictures were cute, and the sequence was okay. It is not a book I would buy.

This book would be good to use with smaller children. It uses animals and song to go through the process of getting ready for bed.

Summary:
It's time for the kids to go to bed but as soon as the clock strikes, they're up and at 'em instead. They are setting out to go on a hunting trip. They are hunting for animals that they set out to find. A little bit of fantasy is incorporated into this book.

Personal Reaction:
I didn't care

for this book. I felt that it lacked creativity.

Classroom Extension:
1. I could have the class hunt for different animals around the room.
2. The class could draw pictures of their favorite animals and describe what that animal does.
