highlights important historic moments around the world as well. There are lots of pictures, fun facts, and side stories that attribute to the overall positive notes of this book. I think it would be an excellent book to base a class project off of, where you could let each student pick a topic to research. Show Less

Hm. Great concept. Presented in the format of an Eyewitness (tm) book though, which is not effective for me. I guess historical fiction works better. The biggest problem that I have with it, though, is that there is no bibliography, no list of recommended reading or related resources.
