This is a book full of rhymes for children. It is very fun to read and out of the ordinary of a regular bedtime story.

Pocketful of nonsense is a poetry book that is appropriate for Pre-K through 2nd. This book has many different stories all in one. Each poem has to do with an animal and an event. Some are better then others but the pictures that go with the poem are very detailed and kid oriented. Teachers could

use this book to show 1st and 2nd graders how to write poetry and rhyme while make a story. For younger grade levels teacher could read this allowed and students could point out what rhymed in the story. A class could also be shown a picture in the book and have to create their poem that depicts the illustrations.
