The sparrow's song

Out of winter comes spring ... out of bondage comes the sparrow's song. When fifteen-year-old Irma Dreipelcher faced the firing squad, she was prepared to die. For some reason she was miraculously spared. But instead of freedom, was given marching order - to the slave labor camps in Siberia.
