Description
Stan Windemere is a detective in the Goshen Police Department. When his son, a sailor in the U.S. Navy, disappears in the frozen tundra of Russia, Stan finds himself unable to focus on his job. But Stan soon learns of another lost son, Clayton Kratz, who left college in 1920 to help Russian Mennonites suffering from the Crimean War. Kratz too has disappeared, leaving behind nothing but a cold trail. As he throws himself into this mystery, he prepares for the truth that, like Clayton Kratz, Stan's own son may never come home.
