sentence, tips her daughter off to dig deeper. When they do, Rizzoli and Isles find the elusive connection far in the past, when the current victims were just children, who accused their daycare provider of horrific abuse. Multiple POVs kept the story moving even when R&I weren't around, and the whodunit was satisfying. My only concern is that this appears to set the stage for a series of books wherein the good guys attempt to catch the same devious killer, which I often find tiresome by book two or three. I hope I'm wrong.
