This lovely book should be reread by me more often. Mrs Schaeffer explains how our homemaking can be an art using our creative minds. Her ability to use almost anything to be creative is amazing. Lots of ideas.

I really do like this book; it's light, but inspiring, and makes you feel like cleaning up at home, baking a loaf of bread, and inviting friends over for coffee and conversation.(Edith Schaeffer is Francis Schaeffer's wife.)

Too much God. Not enough art. Could have been distiller down to one paragraph.
