I really liked this book. It was a bit sad in the beginning but the end turned out eventful.

A sad, scary glimpse of life as a Jew in early Nazi-regime Austria. This wonderful fictional account of life at the time also shows the glamor of high-life New York available only to the privileged upper echelon during the Great Depression.

This book is about a Jewish girl who has everything and then the war starts and she is loses everything and is made fun of by her best friends. I would use this book if i had to teach this war to my students in my classroom. I would also recommend it to teachers.
