This is a book describing the life cycle of an apple. the books starts off from the apple being a bud on a tree to when it becomes a fully ripe fruit that you eat. This would be a good book to read when teaching about plants, and the parts of a flower, also the way fruits grow.

This book explains how apples are made, the reproduction of apples, and when they are made. The book starts off with bare apple trees in the winter, but stating that the tree is still working to produce new buds for apples to be made for the summer. I would use this book for a science lesson on

fruit trees tying it in with other fruit tree books. I would bring in samples of the different sorts of fruit that we read about for everyone to taste and see. The book is great when talking about parts of flowers and how fruit grows from it.

The reader is told how apples grow from flowers, the seasons in which apples grow and that an apple is a fruit. This is a great book to introduce the seasons and how an apple grows. The teacher can intergrate planting a flower and watching it grow into the class activities to go along with the cycle

of the apple.

This book tells the reader about how the apples grow and have fruits. Each flower becomes and apples. Each page shows the picture of each part of flower, and it tells us the duty of that parts. At the end of the book, these children enjoy eating apples. Children will know how the apples grow and

where the apples come from, and so they have apples to eat. They also learn about seasons as well throughout the book spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

Did you know all apples come from flowers? The cycle of forming an apple is so extensive. This book goes into detail as to how apple seeds are fertilized then to when the apples fall off the tree. This book would be good to incorporate into the science lesson, especially a lesson on photosynthesis

because the book even explains how the sugars created from this process determines how sweet the apples are.

If you have ever wondered how fruit is formed on a tree, this book describes in detail how it works. The book is filled with colorful illustrations and diagrams that explain how apples are formed from the flowers that apple trees produce. It is very informative for children and adults such as

This book is about apples; how they grow, get fertilized, and the cycle they go through each year. I did not like this book. I thought it was wordy and difficult to follow. It never really kept my attention and I was easily distracted while trying to read it.
The best part of the book was the

illustrations. I thought the pictures stayed with the story line and told a better story then the words of the book. This book would not be a first choice for talking to kids about how plants grow and develop.

This is a great story to use during the fall or during apple themes because it talks all about how apples grow. It goes through each of the different seasons and what happens to the apple tree during that time. I like this book because it is easy for children to understand but it still gives them

correct information about the life cycle of an apple tree. I think this book would work great for any elementary age student.

A nonfiction book about apples. It goes into great detail with question and answers all about apples. A child can pick up a lot of information about this topic. The book is really good, even the teacher could learn a thing or too. The artwork pairs perfectly with the book.
