In my opinion, this was an excellent book based on a famous artist. Picasso's paintings and drawings each have their own story behind them. The details inside completely follow the plot line behind the title. The story is all about the artist and the girl with the ponytail that he has model for

him. The illustrations line up with the text in it describing what is occurring throughout. I learned more information about Picasso than I ever knew.

The big idea is to chase your dreams. Once Slyvette opened up and showed Picasso her sketchbook, it all flowed out from there. She sold a picture signed by Picasso that he created of her and she made a lot of money, just like he did in his younger years.
